Please see below a list of accounting firms that accept employment applications from college students (internships) and recent college grads (entry level positions). This list is not meant to be all inclusive. Each firm listed under a specific region will have offices in at least one of that region's member states. For instance, Schenck Business Solutions, which is listed under the East North Central (Midwest) has office locations only in the state of Wisconsin. Thank you for for visiting my blog and for taking the time to ask a question. There is no single answer to your question. There are a few things that need to be taken into account including but not limited to the number of accounting courses you already have taken, the recruiting criteria as well as schedule of the companies you might be targeting, and your university’s college of business internship program eligibility criteria. As far as the accounting internships are concerned, they usually take place either during the spring or during the summer. Therefore, my advice to you is that you get in touch with the person in charge of the internship program within your university’s college of business. Additionally, you should be contacting the companies where you would like to do your internship to get a clear idea of how the recruiting process works.
